Exclude unsuitable trials

Apply your exclusion criteria and leave rejected trials out of the selection.

1. Review the session. Judge trials against your study's criteria; a scanpath pattern alone does not establish skimming or poor calibration.
2. In Annotations, tag rejected trials exclude and add a brief reason.
3. Open the filter button beside Select trial. Under By trial annotation, enter exclude in Excluding tags.
4. Check and export the selection.

For trials with several screens, apply the exclusion tag to the whole trial. A screen-only annotation does not exclude its parent trial.
